4 FireFox Tweaks To Make It Faster!!!

Tweaking Firefox is quite simple.

First of all, run Firefox and type “about: config” (without quotes”) in the address bar.

This will bring up a list of all preferences in Firefox. Now lets go TWEAKING!

1. TO SHOW IMAGES AS THEY ARE LOADING (like in internet explorer): Search for browser.display.show_image_placeholders “.By default its value must be True. Now simply right click it, and select Toggle. Its value must change to False.

2. Search for “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests”. Now set it to a number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Search for “network.http.pipelining” and set it to true.

Also Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”

4. Now right click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
